You already know what time it is. Here are the 5 standout moments from Insecure Episode 3:
1. Hoe Phase 2K17
Issa’s ready to get out of her comfort zone but it’s clear she’s not about that #hoelife. S/O to Molly for taking her scarf off and going out in a moment’s notice, though. She a real one.
Sidenote: Was this club supposed to be The Savoy? They had older folks and catfish baskets so I’m just assuming.
2. STERLING K. BROWN
First off, I just want to say that I love him. The End.
Now back to #Insecure: Molly thinks that her date is trying a little too hard. Is he doing too much or is she just not used to being properly pursued? 🤔 Then again I may be biased because Sterling can do no wrong in my eyes *shrug*.
K but molly turning down sza tickets from sterling k brown sis wyd #InsecureHBO

3. Issa’s “Hoe Phase” is a hot mess
So Issa, you mean to tell me that you left Luke James’ fine self for the little kid on the first floor of your building and THE MOST awkwardly uncomfortable sex scene I’ve ever witnessed? I mean, he’s watching Gossip Girl reruns that he got from the library. I’m not following, sis.
Molly ignoring the text and enjoying a glass of cabernet as she watched the hired help build her bookshelf showed massive growth on her end. She doesn’t need a man to do anything for her- she’s got this. I am going to need her to still renew her therapy sessions, though. That lady was getting her life (and mine) all the way together.
5. Tasha You Better Tell It!
Tasha said what I’ve peeped about Lawrence since the first season: “He is a f*ck n*gga that thinks he’s a good dude. ” And like she said, that really is the worst kind. See Miles from last week’s quote:
His moral code always seems to make him want to do the right thing (or at least know what the right thing is), but his lack of emotional intelligence means that his impact isn’t always the same as his intentions. It’s clear that in the wake of the Issa situation, Lawrence hasn’t really figured out how he feels through it all, and is really only willing to address any of it when his behaviors start impacting other people. He doesn’t realize it, but he’s kind of using Tasha as an escape from having to deal with his feelings for Issa.
In other words: 0 self awareness + 0 emotional intelligence = 🗑️
