Disrespectful really was the perfect name for this episode.

The School & The Law Firm
Now we know Mr. Gaines is purposely turning kids away from We Got Y’all. So glad Issa and Frieda are finally back in each other’s good graces because they need to tackle this diversity challenge together.
These Execs are playing Molly! They know she deserves a promotion and they know that she is a vital asset to the firm, but they are taking advantage of the fact that they think she won’t leave! I’m so excited to see her take those interviews because they need to know what they’re going to be missing.
This episode confirmed something I’ve been quietly contemplating since the first episode. Molly’s meant to be with her Chicago colleague Quentin, huh? 😏
Although the entire first half of this episode was a perpetual eye roll from me to Molly about this Dro situation (you gave him keys, sis?), the second half sparked a great turn of events. After finally talking to her mom and getting some closure with her family, she was able to close this Dro chapter.
The entire table situation was so perfectly awkward. I was cringing like I was there!
Tiffany just wants a perfect dinner for her man but of course Lawrence brought “‘Random girl who showed up to Derek’s Birthday.” Can I just say that Lawrence is so lame?! What would possess him to bring his coworker? I know for a FACT that Tiffany wrote out the exact details down to dress code and flow of the night’s events because she’s just extra like that so Lawrence should have known what to expect. Poor Molly is on an island all by herself at the head of the table, and Issa is getting more uncomfortable by the second.
At least Kelly’s having a great time, though.

LAWRENCE AND ISSA CAME OR EACHOTHERS NECKS. They went in and left everything out on the table. Even though this argument hurt, it NEEDED to happen. What was your favorite read? Mine was Issa’s “I ain’t got no woot woots on my phone!” 😂

There was Daniel, her job, Lawrence, his new boo, and their argument, and lastly, that rent increase was the final straw. I’m all here for a cathartic experience, and she needed one but I didn’t expect her to break her entire apartment! At this point, that vacation Molly suggested is starting to sound better and better.
Issa finally having that breakdown that was long overdue. Let it all out girl #InsecureHBO

SN: Gentrification is a b*
Although there’s now a Pinkberry on Manchester and Derek and Tiffany have their eyes on a fourplex, Issa’s apartment complex is making changes for the worst. First, the resident wide noise complaints and now, a rent increase. It’s a matter of time until everyone is kicked out of The Dunes and highrise apartments go up in its place.
