The Art and Culture edit is a monthly series that highlights anything that sparks
the “artsy chick” in me from Los Angeles and beyond. Today, I’m highlighting The Underground Museum.
I’m an avid believer in solo trips. Once a week I try to make time to explore my city. A new neighborhood, place, whatever. This weekend, I explored one of L.A.’s best kept secrets, The Underground Museum.

My Favorite Thing: The”Purple Garden.” It’s a beautiful grassy space and courtyard tucked behind the museum. It has ample seating, a space for screenings, and a juice bar. People milled around, talked amongst the installations, and relaxed on the ample seating. The thing I loved most about The Underground Museum was its energy. The minute I walked in I felt like I was at home.
